Hello and welcome to Ruby Class; our wonderful Year 1/2 class!

I am so excited to welcome you to a brand new school year filled with learning, laughter, and lots of fun. I cannot wait to get to know you all, we’re going to have an amazing time learning together, exploring new ideas, and growing as independent, resilient learners.

This term, we’ll be diving into our exciting topic:
"What is the role of Kings and Queens?"
I can’t wait to get stuck into this with you! We’ll be travelling back in time to learn about monarchs from the past, discovering royal traditions, and thinking about what it really means to be a king or queen. There will be lots of opportunities for creativity, storytelling, and history and maybe even a bit of royal role play!

Our classroom is full of exciting resources to help you learn, explore, and challenge yourself every day. From our inviting reading corner filled with brilliant books, to our hands-on learning materials and beautiful KS1 provision space, there’s always something to discover.
